Mavratzei, the ruins from the old olive oil press

Before the village of Mavratzei you can see ruins from a very old olive oil press, with ca 100 years old machines (now rusty).

The olive oil press was steam powered, and the machines are from Smyrna (today Izmir in Turkey - the Turkish captured Smyrna at the end of the Greco-Turkish War 1922) from the machine factory of Dimosthenis Issigonis....
